About the event
A guided open studio class combines the benefits of private instruction with those of a group classroom environment. Bring your own materials and projects and get individualized instruction for the work you want to create, all while making art in a group setting. You will be inspired by other artist’s work and have the opportunity to share and collaborate with fellow classmates. Instruction will be tailored to your individual art practice, needs, and desire to learn.
You get to create what you want; I will help you make it better!
Bring all your own materials, including drop cloths or table cloths to protect the tables. Tables and chairs provided.
Time: Wednesdays 9:30am-12:30pm
Dates: October 9th- December 18th, (no class November 27th)
Location: 303 North St, Boyne City- Charlevoix Conservation District Community Room Price: $27 per class, or $250 for the semester (10 classes). You can choose the dates you are able to attend.

Minimum 6 students per class required; any individual class date that does not meet the minimum may be canceled. Maximum 10 students per class.
Jennie Kimbrough is an artist in Boyne City, MI. She received her B.F.A. in 2004 from Missouri State University and attended Wichita State University for graduate studies from 2005-2006. Her studio practice focuses on painting with acrylic and encaustic, as well as mixed media work. Her work has been featured in solo and group shows across the country and has work in many private collections, as well as the collection of UTMB Galveston Hospital. She has taught classes at Wichita State University and at Center for the Arts in Houston, TX. For further information visit www.jenniekimbrough.com
