About the Course
Portrait Drawing With Scott Kenyon
In this workshop, students will learn the basic principles of drawing a portrait. Students will be drawing from a photograph of a person learning how to measure proportions, the structure and form of the human head, values, and edges along the facial features. Scott will give a demonstration of proportions, values, and the facial features of a portrait. Scott will be giving individual instruction throughout the workshop.
About the Artist/InstructorScott Kenyon currently teaches painting and drawing classes at the Forest Hills Fine Arts Center located in Ada Michigan, along with workshops during the summer. Scott is a student of the Hawthorne/Hensche School of Painting known as the Cape School of Arts since 2010. Scott has exhibited his work locally and Nationally and curates’ art exhibitions. Cancelation Policy: Request to cancel class must be made at least 2 weeks in advance prior to the start of class to qualify for a full refund. In the event you are unable to attend a class you have registered for due to illness or an emergency; refunds or credits will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Please do not come to class if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID or have recently tested positive. In the event we do not have the required minimum participants, you will be notified that class is canceled and you will be refunded. Thank you.
