3rd Annual Boyne Arts in the Park
Saturday, June 17, 2023
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Boyne Arts Center would like to invite you to submit your application to be an exhibitor in the 3rd annual Boyne Arts in the Park which will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023, in Veterans Park located in beautiful downtown Boyne City right on Lake Charlevoix. This space is perfect for providing artists the opportunity to display their art. Music and Food trucks will also be on site.
Defining the Space:
The Boyne Arts Center has reserved the Pavilion including the surrounding space in front and side of the Pavilion for this event to showcase participating artists. Please note that the Farmers Market will also be taking place on the back side of this event which is a huge favorite for locals and visitors bringing in much traffic to both events.
Application Fees as follows:
Boyne Arts Center Members @ $50.00
Non-Members @ $75.00
Application fees are non-refundable.

Please review the following information in its entirety regarding Show Details, Rules & General Information:
Art Show is Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
All artists who wish to display their artwork must complete the attached application.
One application per artist. Participants limited to 50 this year, so sign up early!
Mediums: Painting in all mediums, graphics, pottery, fiber art, mixed media, photography, glass, wood, jewelry and sculpture. Reproductions such as prints and cards are acceptable. This is not a craft show. This will be a juried show. Please note that if you are currently a BAC Displaying Artist you will not need to submit photos to be juried because you have already completed this process. If you are not currently a BAC Displaying artist of the Boyne Arts Center, you are required to submit 2 photos or one photo containing at least 2 pieces of your work for the juried process. Details to for submission on 3rd page.
Each participant will be assigned a 10x10 space. All spots will be marked, and you will be notified of your spot prior to the event.
There will be no refunds or cancelations if it rains or otherwise. The show goes on.
The planning committee will assign spaces both in and outside of the pavilion according to their desired layout. Artist assigned a space outside of the pavilion are strongly recommended to have a tent or canopy in case of inclement weather. All set up items and coverings should be in good condition.
Set Up is Friday, June 16, 2023, from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Although the pavilion will be locked once set up is complete; it is still your responsibility to secure your contents whether you are assigned inside or out. You also have the option of setting up the morning of June 17th, 2023, from 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Please note all set up must be completed by 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Someone will be on hand to answer questions.
Please note there is a sprinkler system, so use weights verses spikes for those of you with tents.
All artists are responsible for setting up their own area including any tables, walls, display props, easels etc.
Artists are required to display their own original artwork. Quality prints that are reproduction must be marked as a print. Cards are acceptable as well.
Color laser copies and offset lithography must be marked reproductions.
All spaces will be numbered, and exhibitors must stay within the space allotted. Subletting, selling or giving space to anyone is not permitted.
All Artists are required to remain on site for sign in, set up, event and tear down.
All participants are responsible for tear down & clean up from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Saturday June 17, 2023.
No pets, smoking, alcoholic beverages, drugs, generators, radios or music of any kind are allowed.
Artists will receive 100% of their sales.
Failure to comply with these rules could mean dismissal from the show and will not be invited back to this annual event.
Instructions for filing your Application and payment (IMPORTANT):
There are three (3) options this year for you to file your application, submit your fee and send your jpeg of your work. Please follow guidelines below to see which option work for you.
1). Filing Application and Paying Fee online please click here or copy the link below and paste in your browser:
**If you have any questions or are applying online you will still need to email photos of your artwork to be juried to Boyneartscenter@gmail.com no later than Wednesday May 31, 2023, at midnight. Be sure to include your contact information.
2). Paying by Mail - Complete your application in its entirety. Make sure it is signed and dated. Attach with your check made out to BAC along with photos of your work which can be printed on paper to: Boyne Arts Center, One Water Street, Suite 203, Boyne City, MI., 49712, Attention: Julie & Teri. Be sure to include your contact information.
3). Pay onsite Cash, Check or Charge: Stop into the Boyne Arts Center located at One Water Street, Suite 203, Boyne City, MI. 49712. Our business hours are Tuesday – Sunday from 12:00 – 4:00 -p.m. We are located above Cafe Sante’ and our entrance is on the side of the building next to the Chocolate Haus. Look for the double door with the green awning. Take the elevator or stairs to the second floor and follow to your right.
**Be sure to include your photos of work with your application.
Please note once your application has been submitted and your work juried you will be notified of your status.

The undersigned does hereby and forever discharge the Boyne Arts Center, of and from all manner of actions, suites, damages, claims and demands whatsoever in law or equity, from any loss or damage to the undersigned’s person or property in any way arising from or relating to their participation in the Boyne Arts in the Park 2023 while in the possession, supervision or auspices of the Boyne Arts Center, its agents or representatives.
By signing this agreement, I give permission to the publishers and board members of the Boyne Arts Center to use my submitted photographic examples of my artwork in publications and related works designed to promote the Boyne Arts in the Park 2023.

This event will be held according to the COVID – 19 Guidelines and recommendations at the time of the event. We look forward to safely gathering with our community again.
